Maryland, DC and Virginia High School Choir Directors…

It’s time to take on the challenge and claim the right to be called the iSing Choir Champion!

Imagine yourself bringing home a $5,000 scholarship for your high school as your choir scores high marks and impress our judges — many who are world-renowned music professionals.

We will feature the (4) four top high schools competing for a $5,000 scholarship during the “2009 Music & Worship Conference” at Reid Temple AME Church in Glenn Dale, MD on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the opening session.  In addition, several world-renowned gospel artists such as Smokie Norful, Norman Hutchins, and Evangelist Beverly Crawford will come together for two of the most exciting concerts of the year. 

Members of the Music & Worship Conference planning committee will review all contest entries and select six (6) contestant entrants’ best performances to upload on the conference website and the community will vote for their favorite.  The four (4) highest scoring choirs will sing-off live for a panel of judges at the opening night session in hopes of earning the privilege of winning bragging rights and a scholarship for their school. 

Event Timelines:

• Choir registration submission due date:  September 25, 2009
• The top 6 contestant entrants’ will be announced and notified by: October 2, 2009
• Voting on the conference website will take place: October 5 - 16, 2009
• The top 4 highest scoring winners to perform live at the concert will be announced and notified by: October 20, 2009

Submit the following: DVD snippet of your choir’s performance, photo of your choir, and complete the attached registration form by September 25, 2009. All MD, DC, and VA high school choirs are welcome!
